The Barb Evans Participation Award
Barb Evans served on the Durham Region Senior Games Executive from 2010 for as long as she was able before her passing in 2017.

She acted as Games Coordinator, convenor, fundraiser, shopper and cook! She participated in many of the activities offered and worked tirelessly to promote the games and encourage others to join in for some friendly competition.
The Award
At each of the DRSG Winter and Summer Games, a participant name is drawn. That name is entered into a draw for a cash prize and certificate, awarded biannually in Barb’s memory.
